The only stupid question is the one which is never asked.

It frustrates me when I hear a student say they feel stupid for asking a question.

This is a feeling which in many cases has stayed with then from school, where is “Wasn’t Cool” to ask questions and when they did they were ridiculed.

It’s a slow process but usually around half way through the college term when they realise it is a different culture they relax and feel confident to ask even the most simplistic question in class.
